We produce Wine Cap (Stropharia) Culture in straw/wood chips. Cultures are taken fresh from our farm our door garden beds and can be stored in fridge for up to 2-3 months. Wine Cap is a perennial mushroom and is also known as the “Garden Giants” or “King Stropharia”. This variety is great for a beginner in mushroom growing. They do not need wood logs to grow in. Just spread the mycelium on the ground and cover with straw/wood-chips/leaves/burlap and make sure it stays moist until it is established. You can easily transplant spawn into a new area of your garden straw or hardwood chips in a shaded planter box or under the mulched areas of your trees. Garden pathways are also a great for this mushroom variety. Each package is good to inoculate and area of 5ft x 5ft.
