VARIETY: “Maria Des Bois”

A hardy ever-bearing variety with exquisite pink flowers producing dainty fruit with real strawberry flavour from mid-summer into fall. Great for hanging baskets or rock gardens.

VARIETY: “Archer”

A new variety from Cornell University. A real whopper of a berry, topping out at over 50 grams, this strawberry giant will fill the palm of your hand, if planted right and cared for. It can actually be compared to a size of plum or a small peach and it has the flavour to match its frame. With intense aroma and delectable, sweet taste, Archer keeps satisfied customers coming back. It can produce for pickings over 2-3 weeks and exhibits good winter hardiness and disease resistance.

Planting Instructions:

Fill your container with compost to within an inch of the rim then plant your strawberries so that each crown (where the leaves emerge) sits just above the surface (DO NOT bury the crown as it will kill the plant). Firm the plants in and water to settle the compost around the roots. Same instructions apply for planting in ground. Use loose soil material with lots of organic matter.
